Our online continuing education (CE) courses are approved by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL) for the renewal of your Utah professional license. We report your training credits directly to DOPL, and we also provide a certificate of completion for your records. To receive credit, you must enter your license number(s) during the registration process. You can recieve credit for multiple licenses that you have (e.g. contractor, plumber). Utah-licensed contractors must complete a total of six (6) continuing education credits for each license renewal. Three (3) of these credits must be Core Credits, and the remaining three (3) credits can be Core Credits or Professional Credits.

Utah-licensed plumbers must complete a total of twelve (12) continuing education credits for each license renewal. Eight (8) of these credits must be Core Credits, and the remaining four (4) credits can be Core Credits or Professional Credits.

Utah-licensed electricians must complete a total of sixteen (16) continuing education credits for each license renewal. Twelve (12) of these credits must be Core Credits, and the remaining four (4) credits can be Core Credits or Professional Credits.

Utah-licensed elevator mechanics must complete a total of eight (8) continuing education credits for each license renewal. All elevator mechanic CE credits are the same; there is no distinction between Core Credits and Professional Credits as with other license types.

If you hold multiple professional licenses, you may take courses that provide credits for multiple licenses at once. For example, a single course could provide two Core Credits for your contractor license and 2 Professional Credits for your plumber license. Each course listing page tells you what credits are provided. Just make sure you meet all the credit requirements for each license you hold.
